Gelernter Landwirt, arbeitete er in der Versicherungsbranche, im Straf- und Sozialwesen, danach in der Leitung von Institutionen, bevor er zum Freiburger Spital (HFR) stiess.<\/p>\n<p>Seit 2022 Staatsrat und Direktor f\u00fcr Gesundheit und Soziales, pr\u00e4sidiert er 2026 den Freiburger Staatsrat. Jener von Philippe Demierre beginnt im Glanebezirk und in der Landwirtschaft. Als Inhaber eines EFZ als Landwirt und eines Betriebsleiterdiploms arbeitete er anschliessend in der Versicherungsbranche, bevor er seine Laufbahn auf den Straf- und Sozialbereich ausrichtete. Er erwarb einen eidgen\u00f6ssischen Fachausweis als Betreuer im Justizvollzug, einen Bachelor in Sozialp\u00e4dagogik sowie einen Master of Advanced Studies in Leitung und Management von sozial-medizinischen und p\u00e4dagogischen Institutionen. Sein beruflicher Weg f\u00fchrte ihn von den Anstalten Bellechasse \u00fcber die stellvertretende Direktion der Anstalten der Orbe-Ebene bis zum Freiburger Spital.<\/p>\n<p>Auch sein politisches Engagement ist schrittweise gewachsen, beginnend auf Gemeindeebene. Gemeinderat in Esmonts und anschliessend in Ursy, wo er Vize-Ammann wurde, sass er zudem im Freiburger Grossen Rat. Im November 2021 in den Staatsrat gew\u00e4hlt, \u00fcbernahm er 2022 die Leitung der Direktion f\u00fcr Gesundheit und Soziales. 2026 \u00fcbernimmt er das Pr\u00e4sidium des Staatsrats.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"et_pb_column_4 et_pb_column et-last-child et_flex_column et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode_passthrough et_flex_column_12_24 et_flex_column_12_24_tablet et_flex_column_24_24_phone\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_text_5 et_pb_text et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_module et_flex_module\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><p>Als Mitglied der SVP vertritt Philippe Demierre eine Politik, die auf Eigenverantwortung, B\u00fcrgern\u00e4he, kontrollierten \u00f6ffentlichen Finanzen und einem effizienten Staat beruht, wobei er den Familien, den verletzlichen Personen, den \u00e4lteren Menschen und dem Zugang zur Gesundheitsversorgung besondere Aufmerksamkeit schenkt.<\/p>\n<p>Hinter dem Politiker steht jedoch ein Mann, der seinen Wurzeln tief verbunden ist. Verheiratet und Vater von zwei Kindern, r\u00e4umt er seiner Familie, der Musik und dem Sport einen wichtigen Platz ein. Als Dirigent von Blasorchestern und Ch\u00f6ren, Musikexperte, begeisterter Skifahrer und Sportliebhaber sch\u00e4tzt er Begegnungen und das Vereinsleben.<\/p>\n<p>Eine gemeinsame Linie verbindet
